Happy Haven Farm and Sanctuary (HHFS) is located in Byers, Colorado and is a faith based (but not faith required) ranch dedicated to animal centered healing for emotionally struggling youth, returning military, and their families; however, we do not turn anyone away who may be looking for a safe place to heal and grow. Our programs allow our clients to build confidence, grow emotionally and spiritually, and find healing through the innate giving and love of animals. The rescued animals in our facility in turn, learn trust and confidence through working with wounded individuals and families.

While Happy Haven Farm is dedicated to animal centered healing for emotionally and behaviorally struggling youth, returning military, and their families we do not turn anyone away and we believe that anyone can benefit from the healing nature of animals. Therefore, children who do not have the opportunity to be around horses and other animals due to living situation, finances, allergies, or other reasons are also welcome to participate. We also host “pony party” fund raisers! A great gift!

In addition, we provide safe homes for several rescue animals with a focus on hard to place animals and “three-strike” mustangs as part of our Sanctuary.

Happy Haven Farm does not charge for its services related to growth and healing. A minimal donation fee of $120 is required for pony parties which are a fundraiser for Happy Haven Farm (please see pony parties under events).
